Course Outline

With reference to Singapore Standard 694:2023 and the successful implementation of an outcome-based cleaning contract (OBC) in an eco-campus, this course aims to equip the participants with knowledge and skills in:

• Key components and clauses of an OBC contract
• Desired cleaning outcomes/benchmarks for residential estates, commercial premises and retail food and beverage premises
• Service buyer and service provider partnerships
• Performance inspection checklist and scorecard for an outcome-based cleaning contract
• Application of digitalization, robotics, automation and Internet of Things (IoT) for effective implementation of OBC

Participants will also be guided in the drafting of an OBC contract and conduct cleaning inspections, under an OBC framework, together with industry practitioners.
