Course Outline

With reference to Singapore Standard 694:2023 and a successful implementation of outcome-based cleaning contract in an eco-campus, this course aims to equip the participants with knowledge and skills on:

• Key components of an outcome-based cleaning contract
• Typical clauses for an outcome-based cleaning contract
• Desired cleaning outcomes/benchmarks for residential estates, commercial premises and retail Food and Beverage premises
• Performance inspection checklist and scorecard for an outcome-based cleaning contract
• Application of digitalization, robotics, automation and Internet of Things (IoT) for effective implementation of Outcome Based Contracting

Participants will also be guided in:

• the drafting of an OBC contract and conduct cleaning inspections,
• under an OBC framework,
• together with industry practitioners.
